A boil is a nasty problem

I got a boil on my neck. It bloomed up overnight into a Mount Everest. An angry red Everest! I immediately treated it with a Melagel which is a gel with melaleuca oil, beeswax, petrolatum, vitamin E, and other goodies. It seemed to work quite well except the boil did not pop and drain out. At least, not until I took a hot shower which was suggested to me by a site about boils (would you believe it! There were even videos of people popping boils and squeezing the puss out.) And it broke! So I squeezed the pus out by pushing from way under the boil so the gunk was pushed out rather than pushed back in. So now it is starting to subside. But I am resolved to go see a Doctor to be sure it is all out and for a general health check anyway.

But I was pleased that the melagel seemed to make the matter less painful than what I saw on the videos!

Salted crackers were a cracker

Another day of improvement. More tea, but not so much sleep as I got interested in the Olympics - more specifically the NZ womens basketball and the NZ womens hockey.

I neglected the vitamins. But I had crackers with some salt. And the salt seems to have been a good thing. So good I felt obliged to have some more tonight.

For breakfast I had 2 boiled eggs and some powdered greens. This lasted until about noon, when I got quite hungry!

Whatever I did is working. It might have been the extra hour of sleep. Or the extra melaleuca tea that I have been imbibing, but the throat problem is pretty much gone and although I still feel drained of energy, I feel that I am getting back up to par.

And I did not even think of taking any drugs.

Ahhhhh! Somewhat better! Still a bit of a swelling or something in the throat, but not as bad as yesterday. I took vitamins, but I also drank a bit of tea last night and during the day today. I think it helped.

But I felt so tired! Brightened up after lunch. But I have decided on an early night tonight!

An annoying irritation

Bother, I have an annoying irritation in the back of the throat on the right side. A bit hot too. So I drank some tea, had some Honey Cough drops, and it has made no difference. So now the next step is to get some melaleuca tea onto it. Also to get some vitamins onto it to make up for the whatever the lack is. I took some minerals before, but they just did not cut it! Oh well!
